Privacy Policy for Paper Land

Last updated: 23-Sep-2026

CreativeBunny ("we") operates the Android application Paper Land: Territory Grab (the "App"). This policy explains what data the App handles and why. It is written to match exactly what the App does — if the ad configuration changes, this page is updated too.

The short version

The App does not ask for your name, your email, or any account. The game itself runs entirely offline against computer-controlled opponents; your progress, scores and settings are stored only on your device. The App shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, and that ad system uses your device's advertising ID to select and measure the ads you see.

What stays on your device

  • Your level progress — stars, best scores, best territory share and attempts
  • Your best Classic-mode result and total rivals cut
  • Your coins, Big Start boosters, the themes you have unlocked and the one you are using
  • Your settings (sound effects, haptics)

This data is written to the App's private storage. We cannot see it, it is never uploaded to us, and it is removed when you uninstall the App. If you use Android's own device backup, Android may include it in that backup under your Google account; we have no access to it.

Permissions the App requests

PermissionWhy
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATELoading ads, the consent form, and checking Google Play for an optional update. The game works without a connection.
VIBRATEHaptic feedback while playing (can be switched off in Settings)
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDAccess to the advertising ID for advertising
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICSDeclared by the Google Mobile Ads SDK for Android's Privacy Sandbox advertising APIs

The App does not request access to your photos, files, contacts, camera, microphone or precise location.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show advertisements. It shows no banner ads and nothing when the App opens. The formats it does use are:

  • Interstitial — a full-screen ad shown occasionally when you leave a finished match, never during one
  • Rewarded video — optional, only when you choose to continue a match after being knocked out or running out of time, double your coins, or unlock a theme
  • Rewarded interstitial — an optional Big Start bonus offered after some wins, with a "No thanks" option before anything plays
  • Native — occasional ad cards on the level map, always marked "Ad"

For advertising and measurement, Google may collect:

  • Your device's advertising ID (a resettable identifier)
  • Ad interaction data — which ads were requested, shown, viewed or clicked
  • Device and diagnostic information — device model, operating system version, language, and crash or performance data from the ad SDK
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address

We do not receive your name, email address or contact details from this process, and we do not sell your data.

If additional advertising partners are ever enabled through AdMob mediation, their own privacy policies will apply to the data they process, and this page will be updated to name them.

App updates

When a newer version is available, the App may offer it through Google Play's in-app update service. This is handled by Google Play on your device; updating is always optional.

Your choices

  • Reset or limit your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset the identifier or delete it entirely, which stops interest-based advertising.
  • Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): where required, the App shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the App, or by clearing the App's data (Settings → Apps → Paper Land → Storage → Clear data), which makes the form appear again.
  • US state privacy rights: residents of applicable US states may exercise opt-out rights through the same consent mechanism, or by contacting us at the address below.
  • Rewarded ads are always optional. Watching one is a choice you make to earn something in the game; declining costs you nothing that you already had. Rewards need an internet connection, because the ad has to be watched to earn them. If you are online but no ad can be served, the App gives you the reward anyway rather than blocking you.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and its Play Store target audience is 13+. Ad requests are not tagged as child-directed, and ad content is limited to a general-audience (PG) rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will delete what we hold.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no user accounts and no server-side copy of your game data, so there is nothing for us to delete on request. To remove all local data, use Settings → Reset progress in the App, uninstall the App, or clear its data in Android settings. For advertising data held by Google, use the opt-out routes above or Google's own controls.

Security

Data transmitted by the ad SDK is sent over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

Changes

We may update this policy as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date on this page.
