Privacy Policy for Roll the Ball

Last updated: 06-Sep-2026

Creative Bunny ("we") operates the Android application Roll the Ball (the "App"). This policy explains what data the App handles and why. It is written to match exactly what the App does — if the ad configuration changes, this page is updated too.

The short version

The App does not ask for your name, your email, or any account. Your level progress, scores and settings are stored only on your device. The App shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, and that ad system uses your device's advertising ID to select and measure the ads you see.

What stays on your device

  • Your level progress — stars, best moves, best times and attempts
  • Which of the 225 themes you have unlocked, and the one you are using
  • Any bonus hints you have banked
  • Your settings (sound effects, music, haptics)
  • A count of how many times the App has been opened, used only to pace ads

This data is written to the App's private storage. We cannot see it, it is never uploaded to us, and it is removed when you uninstall the App. You can also clear it from Settings → Reset progress inside the App.

Permissions the App requests

PermissionWhy
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATELoading ads and the consent form
VIBRATEHaptic feedback while playing
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDAccess to the advertising ID for advertising

The App does not request access to your photos, files, contacts, camera, microphone or precise location.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show advertisements. It shows no banner ads and nothing when the App opens. The formats it does use are:

  • Interstitial — a full-screen ad shown occasionally between levels, never during one
  • Native — a single card inside the level map list, always marked “Ad”
  • Rewarded video — optional, and only when you choose to unlock a theme or take extra hints
  • Rewarded interstitial — an optional bonus-hint offer, introduced by a screen you can decline

To serve and measure those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • Your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers
  • Device and network information — device model, operating system version, language, network type, and coarse location derived from your IP address
  • Ad interaction data — which ads were shown, viewed, clicked or dismissed, plus diagnostics related to ad serving

Google acts as an independent controller for this data. Its handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

We do not receive your advertising ID, and we do not combine ad data with anything stored on your device. The App contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no social login and no attribution SDK.

Your choices

  • Ad consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland). On first launch the App shows Google's consent form where it is required. You can change your answer at any time from Settings → Privacy options. If you withhold consent, the App runs entirely without ads.
  • Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads from Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting the advertising ID stops apps from using it at all.
  • Play offline. With no connection the game is fully playable and no ad requests are made.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, is rated suitable for everyone, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will act on it.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no personal data on our own servers — there are no servers. Everything the App stores is local, and uninstalling the App deletes it. Data processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own policies; use the advertising ID controls above, or contact Google, to act on it.

Security

Local data lives in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot read on a non-rooted device. All ad traffic uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to it or opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, you can exercise these rights by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it, and by using Settings → Privacy options together with your Android advertising ID controls. You are welcome to write to us as well and we will help where we can.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and publish the new version at the same address. Material changes will also be noted in the App's release notes.
